I am buying an XLT hybrid. I saw the option " Fender Flare Pocket Style Preassembled Textured Black Satin by Bushwacker ."

What do you think about this option? Will dirt and sand collect on the FENDERS and the paint will fall off? I saw a similar issue on the forum with Splash Guards. Some paint has come off in the Splash Guards area.

Also on the forum topic about scratches on the wheel arch.

Price 649 CAD. Yes or no?
Thank you.

You're better off not adding them onto the vehicle order as accessories, even dealer installed ones, can affect scheduling. Have your dealer order them separate through their parts department.

I'll wait no problem, I have a car for now. Is this option useful or harmful?

I am sure they would help keep the truck cleaner . But unless you are thinking of putting on much bigger wheels and tires with an offset, they are not really necessary . Personally I feel they look silly with stock wheels and tires . There is another brand that are smaller and look better .

Another brand? Do you remember the name of it or do you have a photo? Thank you!

I wouldn't want to use wider tires. I'm trying to understand the essence of this option. Is it just a useless design element or is it a good thing? (Sorry for my English)
