"Jerking people around"? Dude, relax. I'm just happy to finally find a Maverick of my own. Here's the breakdown from the sticker if you want to add it all up.If true congrats but there seems to be a bit of dishonesty in your post. You add & calculate items as they are brought up as if you had no idea in the original post what you purchased.
As you have shared a factory build would be 31,555. You claim to have had a $500 below MSRP discount. It’s more like 2.5K.
Stop jerking people around.
My build in my signature was around 31.6k with a discount. Everything except 4X.
We’re supposed to believe you paid nearly the same?
I'm confused - you said $400 under MSRP at $29,500. MSRP is $29,305 so $400 under is $28,905."Jerking people around"? Dude, relax. I'm just happy to finally find a Maverick of my own. Here's the breakdown from the sticker if you want to add it all up.

So I guess I was so excited I was giving approximate numbers. It's still an awesome dealI'm confused - you said $400 under MSRP at $29,500. MSRP is $29,305 so $400 under is $28,905.
Congrats and Happy Mavericking!!Got the call from my local dealer that a customer declined his order so I just put $500 down on a brand-new 2022 Ford Maverick XLT Velocity Blue FX4 Eco-boost.
It isn't a hybrid and doesn't have the lux package so none of the extras I wanted but that's okay. I'll be putting my order in for a 2023 as soon as I can and just trade this one in. I'm super excited!
Best part is they are selling it to me at $400 under MSRP for $29,500!
No worries, not looking to tear you apart. Anywhere near MSRP on a Maverick is a deal in this market regardless. Enjoy it!So I guess I was so excited I was giving approximate numbers. It's still an awesome deal
What does I will sub mean?Nice! Do some vids like these on your travels. I will sub!
oh ok. Yeah, I've been watching. I watch almost all Maverick video's. I can't wait to get mine, though I won't have much time before the snow flies to enjoy it. I hate winter driving. I don't travel much in the winter.Subscribe. It would be great to see a lot more travel adventures of actual owners using their Mavericks like this instead of reviewers trying to figure out the truck with a loaner for a couple of days.
FYI, You can increase the 100 miles to 500 by just editing the URLCongratulations on your new Maverick. Around here, when one goes unclaimed by the person who originally ordered it, the dealers slap a $10,000 markup on them and won't budge from that price. I guess people are paying it, because I've seen a couple of them pop up and then disappear pretty quickly.
And I think you're right about being able to trade it in without taking much of a loss on it. The supply of new Mavericks is still highly constrained, and Carvana and/or CarMax will buy it for well above your purchase price if your dealer doesn't give you sufficient trade-in value for it.
I keep looking for one, but plan to order as soon as the order window for the 2023 models opens. When it comes to that search, however, I really wish Ford would allow a search radius greater than 100 miles on their search engine. Just upping it to 150 miles would bring another couple of hundred dealers into my results... Instead, I have to play games with entering a zip code near those metropolitan areas. Just frustrating and time consuming...
Thanks for that tidbit... I hadn't even thought of checking the URL to see how they were setting the range!FYI, You can increase the 100 miles to 500 by just editing the URL
