Ford Updated My Delivery Date...

Hello!!

So as many of you have been or will be soon, the anticipated delivery date is a super exciting time. My built date was July 1st and the original time frame for delivery was August 1st-7th. I knew shipping constraints and other obstacles were going to delay this by maybe a few weeks. But just this last night I received the following email (see attached) from Ford, basically pushing my estimated delivery date to September 24th-30th. I feel like they are conservatively overshooting the date? Possibly?

There are multiple reasons for the delays in shipping no fault of Ford. I just heard CSX has just put 200 more employees on the payroll in July to get things moving.
The trains are backed up for fires, floods, logistics issues etc. They tried to streamline the logistics which worked but the fatal flaw is no room for adaptation. When orders increase or lines are stalled they bottleneck.

Damn mine was built July 8 and I have mine. North Carolina est. delivery Aug. 7-13. got to the dealer on the 5th picked up the 6th.

Mine was Build July 7, and was supposed to be delivered between July 23 and 29... Got an email, and now it's Sept. 7 thru the 13th. I'm in northern California. I thought we had a bunch of Mavericks coming up here. ; - )

Did you get an update before the most recent, or just a jump from 8/7 to 9/30?

Mine was built 7/7 ETA for delivery 8/4-8/10, arrived at the final train station 7/27 in MA.

On 8/2 they moved ETA to 8/29 - 9/4. Over a month to get it off the train and bring it to the dealer.

Mine was built was officially completed July 4th. Estimated delivery July 31 to Aug 6th. It did not ship out till the 31. No update but called Ford today. I was told it's it not on a rail car anymore as of the 8th. Now at KC, MO. Not sure if that would be the final unload spot to truck to North Iowa?

Mine was built July 8. Dealer told me today it's complete but on factory hold for a couple of chips. Hybrid XL with CP360. Could be hour problem, too

I'm thinking about buying a tore up f250 and a trailer and going into business hauling these laid up Mavericks in MA to the dealers in CT, MA and NH. Then quit when I get mine! Lol

Makes sense, thanks for the insight. I also heard about BSNF having some temporary embargo in place for anything heading to CA. Mine is going to SoCal.

It just jumped from 08/07 to 09/30...no other email in between.

Did the tracker update to "Shipped"? Or did you find out by contacting Ford?

It updated as shipped still kept the original dates. Nothing has updated since missing the delivery date.
