Ford Updated My Delivery Date...

I think the embargo has been lifted. It was supposed to have expired in June but I think it went into July. So there's that back log of shipments. I also just saw something about the christmas inventories arriving at the ports and they're backed up on the docks due to lack of rail also.
Another year without getting my Red Rider!

My XL Hybrid CP360/Hitch/Spray-in was built on 07/07. It was shipped on 07/08. It arrived at the Mira Loma CA (southern California rail depot) on 07/13.

The original delivery estimate was 07/22-07/26
Then, it was updated on 07/28 to 08/02-08/08
I called Ford Marketing yesterday (08/09) and they said it was updated to "by 08/13."

Unfortunately, there is no information explaining why it is being delayed according to the Ford rep. The dealer has no way of getting any additional information. It is basically: we will ship it to the dealer whenever we can.

I have not received an email stating the delivery date has been pushed out since the email stating it would be delivered by 08/08.

There is nothing I can do, there is no information to explain the delay (although I have an idea), and it belongs to Ford until it arrives at the dealer. I offered to send a flatbed to go get it and this is not an option.

At this point, I don't bother to look at the website or contact the dealer. I figure they will email or call me when it arrives.

Build date 7/8 (original build date estimate 5/30). Still awaiting shipment. Original delivery estimate 7/24-7/30. Latest estimate 9/24-9/30. NorCal

My was built June 1, estimated delivery was July 14 to 20. New updated delivery is September 24 to 30th.

Damn mine was built July 8 and I have mine. North Carolina est. delivery Aug. 7-13. got to the dealer on the 5th picked up the 6th.

Mine was officially built June 21, shipped and has been sitting at the Delaware terminal since July 22. My estimated delivery date has changes 3 times. Now it's estimated Aug. 13th but I honestly doubt it's going to arrive by then... I ordered the truck July 16, 2021...
Update, had a call with Ford Customer service and they told me even though I just received that email on the 10th it's not them most up-to-date information. My delivery date has been moved again and is now estimated to be delivered Aug 14-20...I asked ifni should expect that email Update on the 21st...and then another o e after that?

So, final tally:
Production was rescheduled 4 times from early May to early July. It was produced as promised per the 5th production scheduled week.

Shipment information was changed 4 times as well. I never received 5th change and it was delivered 3-days after it was indicated on the 4th schedule change.

The dealer communications have been EXCELLENT! Feel free to hit me up for a referral to the salesperson I worked with.

Exactly! He continues to be great. We purchased a 2022 Escape PHEV in March (ordered Christmas Eve 2021) and he was exceptional with that purchase too.

Oh man...I'm in So Cal as well. My build date is currently 8/22 and somehow, strangely....my ETA for delivery is 8/18-8/24 which is obviously incorrect.

I was hoping by early October I'd have it delivered to my dealer in Orange County. I guess I'll have to keep my fingers crossed. Good luck, everyone!

Did you get an update before the most recent, or just a jump from 8/7 to 9/30?

Mine was built 7/7 ETA for delivery 8/4-8/10, arrived at the final train station 7/27 in MA.

On 8/2 they moved ETA to 8/29 - 9/4. Over a month to get it off the train and bring it to the dealer.

After moving the date from 8/10 to 9/4, the dealer got the delivery on 8/12. Just remember it's all made up and the dates don't matter.

Ford tracker said my truck shipped on 08/18. Let's see what the transit time will be like to SoCal.
