More Aggressive A/T on Black Painted 18's?

Has anyone put a more aggressive tire on the optional black painted 18's from the factory? If so, could you post some pics? Can't stand the tires that come on the truck.

I share the same sentiment and I know nothing about tires so I'm watching this thread.

I added the Black wheels to my order. Are the same ones as on the FX4 or are they different?

Fx4 has black 17’s. The ones I have are the black painted 18’s. Love the look of the 17’s too.

I added the black 18" wheels as well. I haven't seen pics of them on vehicles yet, just the black FX4 ones. Are they the same wheel, just 1" larger? From the Ford Build site they didn't look like much, but they really look sharp in pictures, particularly on the Area 51 and Cactus Gray.

The 18" painted black rims on my truck are different from the fx4 17"s.

Excuse my ignorance but is it possible to put 235s on the 18"s? The stock tires are 225s. From the side they look great but from behind, it looks like my truck skipped leg day.

Agree with that. There are several threads about tire size and what fits. Not a whole lot on the 18” side of things though. From what I’ve read, 235’s should fit no problem, but might want to research to confirm.
There are all sorts of pics of 17” stocks with upgraded tires, but not much for 18”. That’s what I was looking for.

Those are not the optional black painted wheel. Those in the pic are the standard lariat wheel.

Yes. The inside surfaces are painted gloss black.
