Here are a few pictures of the cubby bank and phone mount I linked above. As I said, the Etsy seller also sells a similar one that uses the FITS mounting system to mount the 17MM ball mount. The magnetic phone mount that attaches to the 17mm ball joint I got from Amazon, linked above.

If you don't mind, could you share the Brand, Part # and URL you used for:
  • LED lights for the Cargo, Reverse, and Third Brake Light
  • LED bed lighting
  • Cubby bank and magnetic phone mount for iPhone

I also have a bunch of mods and add ons sitting around waiting on mine to arrive. I might look into that stop/start harness and the dash cubby thing. Both are useful mods to me! Thanks for the info.

Here are the links for the LED bed lighting...

I used these lights from Amazon. I ended up mounting them to the underside of the bed cover rails on each side. There was a little metal rail that was the perfect size.

I watched this YouTube video first and he goes through the whole process and uses the same lights. He mounts his to the underside of the plastic bed rails on the truck.

Here are a couple pics of where placed the lights and the on/off switch.

And no issues of frequency interference with the key fob/remote access as some RAM owners have experienced?

No issues for me at all. My only complaint is the Ford 12V pre wiring in the truck bed does not stay on all the time. It shuts off after the truck has been off for about an hour or so. Then you have to re-start it to get them to come back on. You would have to wire it somewhere else I guess to avoid that. But I’m ok with it.

Ha Ha, that looks similar to my collection that I had waiting. Took me several evenings and a couple Saturdays to get everything done.

can you share more experience with the auto start stop harness from 4dTech? Looks like a simple pass thru. I will add that to my parts collection if you're happy with it. Thanks.

Yea. Agreed! I think it'll take me a few rounds as well!

Yep, it's just a pass-through and all it does is default the button to turn off the auto start/stop, instead of the other way around. You can even press the button and turn it back on if you ever want to.

I haven't had any issues so far. Insall was pretty much as easy as in this video below. I didn't even use the zip tie because, imho, it didn't hang down low enough to bother anything.

I like that I can easily unplug it if I ever need to take it in for warranty work and don't want to worry about the dealership saying anything about it.

I found that video this morning. I went ahead and ordered one to add to my pile. Thanks!

Just wanted to post about my good experience picking up my Maverick. I also wanted to post a few pictures of my Maverick Lariat in Alto blue. I haven’t seen too many with that color and the wheels I chose.

I ordered the end of September and it took almost exactly 8 months to arrive (Ecoboost). I ordered from Doug Ball at Autonation Ford in south Fort Worth. I never had to put a deposit down. They honored price protection without even a question. They didn’t add any dealer add-ons or hidden fees, just straight MSRP. They also let me use the interest rates that were available when I ordered the vehicle, which saved me a lot of money.

Overall, I was really happy with the experience. If you are in the DFW area, give Doug a call at 817-838-4426. Tell him I told you to call and he will take great care of you.

So far I have added several accessories already. Most of these I had already ordered and they were just waiting on the truck to arrive… 😎
  • Added Ford Stainless letters to tailgate
  • Installed Ford Hard Tri-Fold Bed cover (works great, got it for 20% off).
  • Ford Bed mat (had to cut out holes for front tie downs).
  • Ford Splash Guards (not pictured, easy to install)
  • Changed Cargo, Reverse, and Third Brake Light to LED (highly recommend).
  • Added Tailgate Assist (now I just need a better tie-down solution for the tailgate).
  • Applied Armor Shield Ceramic Coating from Avalon king (easy to do, I recommend it).
  • Added Cerakote Ceramic Trim Coating (also easy).
  • Installed LED bed lighting from Amazon. Used Ford”s 12v wiring in the back. (Probably the hardest of everything to install, but not too bad. Makes a huge difference).
  • Added a cubby bank and magnetic phone mount for my iPhone (cubby was from AkroHD on Etsy).
  • Cut a 2X8 for bed divider. Painted black and added handles.
  • Added Auto Start/Stop Elimination from 4Dtech.com. Super easy to install and remove if need be. Defaults the button to off and works great.
  • Had the front two windows tinted with ceramic tint ($130, not in pictures).
I think I am done for awhile. 😀 Next thing will probably be a dash cam. So far, I am really enjoying this truck. The ecoboost is really peppy and fun to drive. I really like the seats in the lariat and the adaptive cruise is awesome. If I had one complaint, it would be the screen quality and resolution is terrible. The backup camera is also bad, although that might be just the screen resolution. They both look terrible compared to my wife‘s 21 Escape. But that’s pretty much my only complaint. My wife keeps trying to steal it from me because she thinks it‘s more fun to drive than her escape.

She's a beauty! Many happy miles!

I'd suggest swapping out that long antenna with a stubby.
Also, there are members here you are selling a tie-down that allows usage of the tailgate assist. Look for someone who had to buy a pair and will sell you one of them.

That would be awesome if I could find somebody selling just one. I messaged the guy that made them, and I don’t think he is making them anymore.

You'll find someone. Just keep watching that thread and posting that you're looking for one. Or, least of all, buy the pair and sell one of them off. Good luck.

I would be fine buying the pair myself, but I don’t think he is making anymore. The first time I messaged him, he told me he would put me on a list if he ever made more. The second time I contacted him to see if he was going to make anymore, he didn’t even respond…
