Perimeter Alarm on Lariat/XLT, No Interior/Inclination Sensors?

After seeing a few threads on the Perimeter Alarm (listed on the Lariat/XLT Window sticker) I am confused.
I am not referring to the $215 Add-on Perimeter Plus Alarm, which appears to be a shock sensor and mentions nothing about motion sensors.

The Perimeter Alarm, according to page 85 in the Manual seen here: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/anti-theft-proximity-alarm.4646/post-99205) is supposed to include Interior Motion Sensors as well as Inclination Sensors. This should be adjustable in the Vehicle Menu under Settings/Vehicle/Alarm. This is not present on my Lariat Lux or another members Lariat that posted in another thread. Locking the truck with the windows down and walking far away with the key to test, no alarm goes off if someone reaches in the truck and waves their arms around.

Did Ford pull one over on us and not include/enable this? I have seen little to no discussion about this Interior Motion Alarm. I will look around tomorrow in Forscan to see if this is an option that can be enabled. Guessing that may be what this sensor in the overhead console is?

Just a quick check with Forscan I see in IPC Module "Perimeter Alarm Guard Control" is Disabled.

AS well as "Perimeter Alarm Guard Reminder" in APIM Module.

"Perimeter Alarm" is Enabled in the BdyCM Module(My truck Does alarm if you lock it, then open a door.)

No idea if this would enable the Interior Sensors so I haven't changed anything, but may try later today. Also not seeing a Menu setting to enable Settings/Vehicle/Alarm.

I enabled Perimeter Alarm Guard Control with Forscan in the IPC Module.

Interior Sensors still do not Activate the alarm if you reach in and wave around.

I went to my Ford dealer to ask if the "Perimeter Plus" alarm addon was required for this and they did not know. They made a few calls, and the consensus was that the Interior Sensors DID NOT require the Perimeter Plus addon to work, which is just a shock sensor/remote start.

They said to find out why the Interior Sensors do Not work or how to enable them I had to bring the truck in for a Service Appointment so they could run tests. I will probably wait and see if anyone else figures this out, but it doesn't seem that many others care.

I am hoping someone may have answers on this. Our EB XLT Lux is landing at the dealer today or so and I was going to do the add-on enabled features. The sales mngr told us when we ordered they can do that after delivery. I just would like to know how others' are finding the standard alarm and what added capabilities there are. After 7+ months waiting I don't want anything happening to this truck.

So far, the Perimeter Alarm activates if you lock the vehicle, then: Open a Door, Open the tailgate, or open the hood.

You may ask them to demonstrate the Interior sensor part of the alarm (page 85 of Manual,) so far it doesn't work on my Lariat. Maybe they might know something my dealer doesn't.

I'm glad you posted this because I was looking through my settings to try to find the alarm settings without any success. I swear I remember seeing a review of an XLT somewhere that showed it on the center screen...

I am more interested in the alarm chirping w any bumping or even better, w/ movement in the perimeter. We have horrible teens around who are often messing w cars in the subdivision. I grew up in Chicago, none of my cars are ever left unlocked (or windows down) even just taking groceries inside from the driveway

color & I will put some pics up and update when I have a few mods done at the end of the month! Truck is my husband's he will b out of town for a couple wks and I'm going to do a bunch of stuff to it He is basic, doesn't care about such things I'm going to make sure his 20-something nephews really into car mods are jealous

Any Input on this?
MY dealer says Perimeter Plus addon is not required for Perimeter Alarm(included on XLT/Lariat) Interior Sensors to work. Are they wrong? They say I need to make an appointment and have it diagnosed. I have not seen anyone who has stated their Interior Motion Sensors set the alarm off as indicated on page 85 of the vehicle manual.
