Just picked-up my XL, 2.0, awd, 4k tow, 360, silver from Long McArthur Ford, Ks and drove it back 1270 miles to Jax, Fl. The truck has surpassed all my expectations. I averaged 28mpg fighting gusty winds and hilly to mountain conditions until reaching the deep Southeast. A local 150 mile trip here in flat Florida averaged 30.1 mpg. I bought from LM as there are no surprises. Pay MSRP on ordered with a low dealer fee. No markup or made-up fees. Paid taxes and registration locally and didn't have to pay the stupid electronic transfer fee ($400 range) local Florida dealers charge. Have another Mav Hybrid on order (Oct 21) but still no schedule set yet. Be keeping one and the other will be up for sale.

I really like the 2.0L EB's performance so far for the vehicle. The hybrid would be pretty insane in terms of gas mileage though, let us know which you choose to keep.

Destin is good. I was preferring to the I-4 corridor between Orl and Tampa. Home of the infamous "Florida Man". But there are good points to that area too. Orlando has the mouse and Tampa has good pro teams (not so much here in Jax with the Jags). lol

Jax is still old Florida. The culture here still has yet to be compromised by transplantation but that will change. Jax has the 2nd highest number of apartment and housing builds in the nation and the word is out. The flock is on especially from California.

Best part of Florida is anywhere! I'm in Sarasota. Don't care for Pan Handle (southern Alabama) other areas are any ones choice! Love driving my Hybrid Maverick in the flat state with no hills to climb.

Ocean side Melbourne area. Several Marine retiree's in our sub, .or less than 20yrs. They let me hang out sometime (Army ) Most in the Aviation side. Neighbors grandson currently DI at Parris Island.
