Bronco customers pain may be Maverick owners delight

It seems that the Bronco supply chain and build rate will be suffering due to some roof issues. Since the Broncos are build at the same Mexican plant you would think Ford may shift some more of the line crews to the Maverick until the Bronco gets going again.

Just to clarify - I believe it is the Bronco Sport that is built in the same plant as the Maverick...not the full-size Bronco which you are referencing.

I don’t think the big Bronco is built in Mexico. The Bronco Sport is built there in the same plant as the Maverick.

I have been following the mess over on Bronco 6G for awhile. I placed a reservation for a Bronco a few months ago but at this point I'm thinking of just cancelling because there is 0 likelihood I get one before end of 2022 at this rate.

I reserved a Maverick last Wednesday and had a VIN and production date the next day. A hell of a lot better than my Bronco order. Was thinking about selling the bronco when (IF) I get it. But who knows when that’s gonna be

No clue how it worked out. I reserved a Lariat in carbon gray, 2.0 AWD, luxury pkg, brown interior, spray in liner, on a Wednesday. Forwarded my confirmation email to my dealer immediately. My dealer put the order in that same day. I got an email the next day with a 9/20 build week. I thought it was an error at first. I actually called the hotline yesterday to find out why my window sticker wasn’t showing up on the order tracker. The person I spoke to was very nice. She confirmed that it was in fact scheduled for production. And she was amazed that it went that fast. She said it’s the fastest she’s ever heard of. I’m super excited
