Judging from my years of doing accident reconstruction, it looks like a truck rode up and over from the back. The burn patterns on the sides and rear looks like the fuel tank ruptured and the flames came out and up the sides and out and up the right rear - then it just took off from there with all of the plastics fueling the flames. What the hell happened to that thing?
0% of that is salvageable.
I'm going with structure fire, vehicle was in a garage when structure collapsed. The panels are just too pristine for vehicular accident. Bends on the tailgate are consistent with something dropping vertically on it with metal bent out towards the back of the truck. Also the consistency of the roof damage leads me to believe something dropped vertically on it. Ten years in the law enforcement world and the sheet metal is not nearly mangled enough to me to be consistent with vehicle on vehicle damage.Judging from my years of doing accident reconstruction, it looks like a truck rode up and over from the back. That could be the case also, unfortunately we will never know what caused its early demise.I'm going with structure fire, vehicle was in a garage when structure collapsed. You can see two other burned vehicles in the pictures, and all three have the same sale date:I'm going with structure fire, vehicle was in a garage when structure collapsed. Mine will always be parked in my garage when not driving it. I have no wish or need to use autostart or a phone ap to remote start my truck. You do as you wish. You can see two other burned vehicles in the pictures, and all three have the same sale date:

Someone lost a garage full of nice vehicles. The other two don't have the same crush damage, so I wonder if the Maverick was in the middle and took the brunt of a collapsing roof.
The picture of the engine bay is a mess, and I'm no mechanic, but it sure looks like a hybrid.
This would be the second or third that I've seen lost to fire. With the idle/autostart glowing cat issues, it's enough to make you nervous.
For now, I think parking outside is a pretty good idea.
