"should function perfectly" is concerning

I would like to see "will" or "does".

I wouldn't think a brand new car would need seat covers to hide imperfections at this point, maybe I have higher expectations.
These seat covers have been around as long as seat airbags. I doubt a company selling a faulty product would still be around in this litigious society we live in.

Easy there Lil Truck, using logic on a forum? Lol....🤣

Likely the cover manufacturers legal team will not allow affirmative statements as to the safety of their products, if for no other reason than they cannot control the end user placing the covers on correctly and then keeping them properly in place & adjusted. Also why they generally have little to fear from litigation in my opinion.

Nothing wrong with your logic or expectations, there shouldn't be a problem this early with the factory seats - 8200 miles and mine look new, heavy civil construction environment.

I'm sure we've pushed some of those memories out of our brains either with therapy, alcohol or both.
To this day I gotta have it right.

It seems that I've seen this issue on the right side of the seat that gets ruffled. Still wondering if this may be caused from the drivers having their wallets in their right rear pants pocket and this is the effect upon the seat.

Wow genius, I hope you get some money from that company otherwise you are just helping them spread false info. If this video is their claim that they tested it works, then good luck in court. A airbag pop through the seat doesn't mean it is as effective. You need to do crash test and compare with and without the cover. I just realized you are the same person replied my other post and didn't understand engineering basics. I stand by my comments because I have years of engineering background and have a PhD in mechanical engineering. So I don't just take a youtube video and some company claims and believe it. A scientific research with controlled parameters will speak for themselves

You're such a cliche. Wet Okole has sold hundreds of thousands of those seat covers. Find me an instance on the internet of a seat airbag not deploying due to them and I'll buy you a donut. Also, I think there's as much of a chance of you having a PhD in any discipline of engineering as there is a chance of my Maverick being produced tomorrow.

Edit: Wet Okole is so impressed with my internet schilling for their company that I have no personal interest and also have never purchased anything from nor plan to that they want to give me a free set of seat covers but only if you take them too hj630

My seating material is bunching up or pulling away on drivers side. I noticed yesterday while at the gas station.

Read quite a few complaints on Reddit regarding the seat material lifting and folding up on quite a few Maverick XL and XLT models. There is even a Youtube video from one owner and he claimed Ford wouldn't fix it. Same thing was said by several owners I read yesterday. Anyone here had that experience?
Even if Ford replaced the seal cover.....wouldn't it just happen again? Might as well wait a little bit. If it is an issue, Ford will probably replaced the part by a design change or use another manufacturer. I would wait until there is an updated part # (and hopefully improved), and then try to get it replaced under 3/36 warranty.

Hey guys. I'm new here. Just picked up my Maverick on Thursday Feb 24th and with 650kms on the truck I am already seeing this issue. It has been pretty cold here the last few days not sure if that makes a difference -13c this morning. I don't have heated seats in my Maverick. I'm not sure if this is happening in the same spot for all owners on drivers side. Anyway here are a couple of pics.

Just wondering if you wear your wallet in your right rear pants pocket and maybe stretching out the fabric unequally.

Mine is also doing the exact same as well, no heated seats. I have a little over 700 mi/picked it up March 10. I carry a ridge wallet but I feel like now my body position in the truck is Me leaning that way in the seat - just odd
