any false triggers?I’m embarrassed to admit it but it’s saved my bacon on a couple of occasions. Definitely worth having. It hit the brakes for me faster than I could get my foot on the pedal and bought me that extra fraction of a second that made the difference between rear ending someone and stopping in time.
I’ve had the collision warning go off a few times when changing lanes where it thinks I’m going to collide with the car in front of me but it’s never actually applied the brakes when it shouldn’t have.any false triggers?
its gotten me a few times when a car is turning out of the lane in front of me and doesnt realize as well, but it doesnt slam on the brakes for you it just primes the breaks, so a false trigger isnt all that bad other then a wtf for a second lolany false triggers?
This was really interesting thanks. Ford and Kia/Hyundai obviously didn’t even try… but I was incredibly blown away by how good the other systems were. Definitely better than a human in these situations, especially in the tests where a pedestrian is obstructed from view completely until the last moment. Nissan and Audi stood out to me here.Come on Ford
I’ve had my Audi hit the breaks on me for no reason at slow speeds. Will scare the crap out of you. This was really interesting thanks.
