My Hot Pepper Red Maverick arrived at the dealer yesterday and I am picking it up tomorrow afternoon.

This was a dealer order truck that I found on their website and was able to put a deposit on before someone else snagged it. I am paying MSRP and a $295 doc fee. No other taxes or charges. My trade, a 2018 Ram 1500, is paid in full so I have to pay zero is state sales tax and my trade value exceeds the cost of the new truck. Actually getting back from the dealer.

Dealer Order: 9/13/21
Deposit Placed: 12/28/21
Build Date: 1/4/22
Shipped: ??
Arrived at Dealer: 1/25/22

Exactly 3 weeks from built to delivered in southwest PA. The palsapp never updated for my truck either. Seems a few other HPR Mavericks were also built on 1/4 from reading other threads. The dealer I am purchasing from is a mid sized regional dealer but this only the 2nd Maverick they have received. The 1st was ordered/purchased by a staff member.

Picked up my Maverick this afternoon. MSRP-$750 Ford Rebate. No mark up, no games, no gimmicks.

I installed the Truxport tonneau when I got home. I found it fits good, no gaps. My tonneau was dated 12/29/21, so maybe it was lengthened a bit after complaints?

I am more than satisfied with the Maverick and suggest anyone still waiting to hang in there, it will be worth it in the end.

My Maverick had 6 miles exactly on the odometer when I first sat in it. The salesman had already taken it for a ride to fill up by that time as well. I now have 42 miles and have no complaints. All accessories that were supposed to be there were there. This includes 2 keys, all weather mats, 12v for the bed, and the manuals.

Congrats and looks super nice, could you post photos of your Truxport tonneau and which model so people can see if they indeed updated the cover to fit better?

Here is the link to the tonneau: https://realtruck.com/p/truxedo-truxport-tonneau-cover/v/ford/maverick/2022/

I purchased directly through Alex at Realtruck. He gave a good discount and fast shipping. His email address is on this forum in several threads. You can email him directly for his best offer. I will snap a couple of pictures tomorrow of the cover installed.

I chose this cover for two main reasons. First it sits on the bed rails, giving you an extra inch or so of depth in the bed. Second, it clamps down on the rails rather than pinching the rails. I have never had luck with the pinch style clamps on the low profile cover staying in place. I’ve tried several different covers from different companies and always the same issues for me. Maybe its just me? I don’t know. But I am very happy with this tonneau.

Here are a couple of pictures I snapped this morning in the snow. The cover had about 3-4” of snow on it and held up well. I have driven around all morning and it remains dry inside the bed.

Thank you, I think that cover looks great and it looks like it fits perfectly fine. I actually like how it sits up above. I just wish they anodized the aluminum clamps black or something but for the money this seems like a really good option.
