I did not, but I did get that same invite some 40 yrs ago in 1983 or 4. I had bought the first Ford Taurus‘ and they ask us to meet in Chicago where they had a ton of tents set up and moved the car through the lines so each engineering group could examine the car. I was living in Naperville at the time so it was a bad drive to downtown.

Got $50 then plus they replaced my dash for free. It had started to swell.

I’ld do it again if I got asked.

Yep, I sent them the email they asked for. Sounded a bit like human factors engineering, they want you be on the zoom call in your truck so the engineers can see how you interact with the vehicle....sounded interesting
