1st the great news, I picked up my XL hybrid today, ordered in July. Didn’t drive it much but fit and finish looks great. The engine is harsher than I thought, the Prius engine seems to rev smoother but less powerful. Hopefully as the temp gets warmer and as the engine breaks in, it will be smoother.
I decided to take advantage of the 0% financing. The paper work is overwhelming, so many things to sign. The paper signatures wasn’t too bad since I can read what I’m signing but I had to do electric signs 4 times, and couldn’t see what it’s for, the guy behind the glass said it’s for financing and would give me print out, which he printed and put in stack of paper he provided. I had a quick look at the totals and financing terms, looked good, but later when looked for copy of 4 electronic signatures, only found 2 of them in the paper work. All of the paperwork provided to me looks good.

My question is for those doing ford financing, did you have to sign 4 electric signatures?

There's a decent chance that the electronic signatures were copies of the other docs, but there's nothing at all wrong with calling the dealership and requesting email copies of those electronically signed docs. Tell them it's for your 'files.'

I had to sign on the computer screen. I was not counting. Maybe 4 times. And I was financing 1.9% rate not zero.

I never read the fine print as it takes hours. I'm not worried about it. Everyone wants my money or me to use credit. I want to be left alone. Stop calling and stop sending me mail. lol

If you already drove away with the truck, your financing is all set. If the sales document showed 0% for the rate then that's what u have. If you are ever looking to refi for a longer term or cash out refi once your term is over, dcu currently has 1.24% for hybrids. That's what I am doing.

Thanks, I’m not worried about the financing, just feel uneasy about signing things I can’t see. Due to Covid, big glass barriers are put up, so can’t see the computer and signatures are taken on the little device like CC kiosk. I should be more like BILLNOROVILLE, not worry about it.

Thanks to the dealers that utilize DOCUSIGN for all the paperwork. Fast and painless from my experience.
