Longest Wait Time From Confirmed Order to Delivery

I think Ford hopes we all walk away. They can sell to public for way more than we are paying.
Just my opinion. But it is happening. I'm going on 6 mths.

As I understand it Ford sells the dealerships and dealerships se to the public. So any price markups go to the dealership not to Ford. So walking away from an order will definitely benefit a dealership since Maverick is selling out everywhere!

That's not at all realistic. Honestly, to me it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that it's based on supply and demand and supply chain issues, just someone who doesn't have an emotional attachment to the situation. There's no conspiracy here, Ford is not hoping to sell your orders to a higher paying customer, they want a happy, hopefully repeat customer. Some people are handling this better than others, it is what it is. Ford isn't the only company with supply issues, they're doing the best they can. Like I said, if you don't like the situation maybe you should just order something else?

I ordered mine on Aug 9 they told me it will be here Jan 21 to the 27.once you get the order in they assign you with a Vin number on your order.i had the dealership print me out a sheet and it told me where it was along the build process.it had each time and date were it was like paint stuff like.it wasn't real accurate but it was something.ive been tracking it myself on the Ford site.it has my window sticker .I downloaded it .it has everything I ordered price .wellhead it's the widow sticker on the car .they told me it was shipped on Jan 2 .

I told my salesman I need to be in a vehicle by end of next week. I cannot wait any longer. Let’s see if the maverick comes in by then or what he has to offer. At this point the excitement of getting this vehicle has worn out.

Its beyond belief that people are having to wait so long for their truck . You would think after the Bronco launch mess up, that would have figured out a better process. But I guess not. June July and August orders still not built or even scheduled yet is BS. Mines a October 12 order so who knows when my truck will get here. I was hoping Easter but thats looking a little doubtful. Ford needs to rethink their launch process for sure.

I understand the reason for the wait. I can’t however understand how they can’t plan out their parts flow better to get the people first in line their trucks sooner. You won’t get your hybrid lux but then someone may get a Lux EB. Not a good look

Exactly. I’ve been seeing Ecoboost XLTs with luxury package for MONTHS now. There is zero reason why my order should be after orders for the SAME vehicle MONTHS after mine. I have gotten so close, but not knowing if my vehicle will sit in a rail yard another two or three weeks has me having to take this step and see what else the dealer will offer.

Well June 10th confirmed order date. Lariat Hybrid front wheel drive, Rapid red. In Production 12-22 and as of 1-21 showing still in production but showing expected delivery date of 1-26-22. So what is real date??????

Mine was shipped 12/29 supposedly and it’s supposedly in a rail yard in NJ and supposedly coming 1/29-2/3 but I’ve learned lately it’s not accurate at all and they are showing up later rather than sooner like before. If yours hasn’t shipped yet your looking at a month at least after it is shipped.

When you say 'In Production' 12/22, do you mean that's when the tracker first said in production, or is that the little date that's actually 'stamped' on your tracker?
