6/19 order XLT LUX 360 Sliding back glass. Priority 2 since early Oct. It sucks to see others riding around in their Mavericks. BTW Area 51 looks really good in the sun :)

In honor of today being exactly 7 months since my confirmed order of my truck with still no truck I’m curious how long have you been waiting for your truck? Where are my fellow June Northeast orders!?
July 10th was my order/confirmation date at the dealership here in San Antonio. Still haven't heard anything. Only a couple "check-in" emails received from the dealership, XL, 2.5L

In their defense, I work in large scale project management. Between labor shortages, supply shortages, inconsistent supplier pricing and reliability and every other kind of covid related shenanigan it's a miracle that anything is getting made and delivered. Have patience and at least be grateful that we're not seeing too many quality and reliability issues here at all.
In everyone else's defense, I work in large scale project management. Between labor shortages, supply shortages, inconsistent supplier pricing and reliability and every other kind of covid related shenanigan, I still find time to update my customers on the status/delays. No communication is the worst communication.

Ordered mine June 23rd...Alto Blue, 4k towing, etc. Other than the original confirmation email, I haven't heard shit.
I did call my sales person the other day and changed it from an XLT to a Lariat.
I also saw a Maverick in the wild for the first time the other day...a Hot Pepper Red one.

All allocation arguments aside, Ford not communicating with customers who ordered in June is a trash can move.
At least send an "We're sorry you're frustrated and we're trying" email.
I agree, I had that conversation with my dealer 3 months ago.

No offense but you're all waiting for the hottest vehicle on the market with supply chain issues and this little thing called a pandemic going on. I was told when I ordered my EB to expect about 6 months but it could be longer and my order could be pushed to the 2023 model year. I don't expect any communication in that time aside from my dealer eventually calling me to say it's on the lot. If you don't like it cancel your order and buy something else? What do you expect from Ford? Do you think they have the resources to contact buyers individually? My office is constantly hovering around half to three quarter staff because of people being out sick with covid or taking care of a kid with covid. Why would they even waste resources informing customers of the pretty OBVIOUS reason for delays, you know, supply chain issues, battery shortages, electric motor shortages, transportation shortages, a PANDEMIC. Also, I completely agree with their allocation system, they reward their top performing dealerships with better allocation. Is this an everyone should get a trophy moment? Sorry but I don't have any sympathy here, I've owned ten different new vehicles in my life, three of which I've special ordered and I never expected communication from the dealer other than "hey, your car is here".

This is my exact frustration. I see vehicles just like my order already delivered MONTHS ago. I can no longer wait for another vehicle or my fiancé might kill me having to wake up at 5 am to drive me to the train station.
I hear you. Thank God my wife has been working from home. I wouldn't have a ride to work!

I ordered mid July, XLT hybrid, and have a build date of Feb 28.

Here we go again! Today I received an email from Ford (Jan. 20, 2022) Stating my production week has been changed from the week of 1/17 to 1/31. I ordered my Lariat hybrid, hot pepper red, Lux package, on 7/5/21. that means it will be 8 months from order to build week. Add shipping and dealer prep, maybe 9 months total. I was 80 years old when I ordered the truck, hope to see it before my 82nd birthday! Ordered from Sarasota Ford.

Well, for a company that is planning to move to a majority order-based platform you'd think they'd beef up that infrastructure a bit and have some better customer service. I didn't order this truck because I think it's 'sick' and 'dope' and I have all kinds of expendable income to toss around on the hottest new ride. I ordered it because it's the perfect size and economy to replace my ancient, failing work trucks. I NEED it. So yeah, it's a bit frustrating that I placed an order in early July and the only thing I've heard is Ford saying it's my dealer's fault and my dealer saying it's Ford's fault.

I ordered my white Hybrid XLT on August 5th 2021. The last information from Ford indicated it should be to the dealer (Salt Lake City) by January 13th. On January 17th 2022 I drove by the dealer and there it was. I got the things I really wanted on it but made sure I didn't order anything that might slow down the build. Sorry so many of you have to wait longer. Wondering if it is Ford, the dealer or just plain bad luck that has slowed your build. Hopefully it won't be too much longer for the rest of you.
