I tried to install this but I cant remove the OEM screws as they are Torx plus. I bought some bits that I thought would work and tried tp25, tp27 and tp30 but they wouldnt fit. either too small or too large. Any help would be appreciated

Are you referring to the OEM screws on the rail or the OEM screws on the tie down?

The screws for the rail are M6 and for tie down screws,our installation personnel have indicated that we may also slip teeth when tightening, so he suggested drawing a "cross" (+)on the plum blossom screw to make it easier to tighten.
