A couple weekends ago, I went out to Oceano Dunes for a two night camping trip. I decided to remake a video I did out there almost exactly one year ago, when the truck was just a couple weeks old. Then, I did not have a very good camera mount and I was just recording with my cell phone microphone. This one is still recorded with my cell phone. I just have a real action camera mount on the windshield. Also, the audio is better because I'm using my Zoom H1 as a usb microphone, also mounted to the windshield.
There a few quick clips in the beginning, followed by a sunset time lapse I took on the second night. Then, back to the driving video in its entirety, no edits. I have been asked before about how I get that turbo noise. I don't do anything. It just happens when I let off the throttle while under a full load. My engine is completely stock. I also have my roof top tent in my bed and all of my camping stuff in the truck. I'm slightly heavier than a normal Maverick. I aired down to about 16 PSI but by the time everything started warming up, all the TPMs settled on about 19-20 PSI
