I finally got around to installing the WrapLander Vinyl Wrap Kit – Topo Car (Matte Black) with the Topo Car Accent/Booster Kit in Penny Bronze, and I’ve gotta say… I’m pretty stoked with how it came out.
I chose matte black for the main kit because I wanted something low-key but still aggressive. Nothing loud, nothing over the top. Then I added the Penny Bronze accents to tie in with my wheel color, and that combo honestly brought the whole thing together. The bronze pops in the sunlight just enough to catch your eye, but it’s not flashy. The matte black keeps it clean and balanced. The two-tone setup ended up giving the truck way more depth than I expected.
What surprised me most was how manageable the install actually was. As long as you prep properly and don’t rush it, the vinyl lays down really nicely. The precision cuts make placement straightforward, and it’s forgiving enough that you can lift and reposition if you need to. After the first couple sections, you kind of get into a groove. Watching the topo pattern build panel by panel is weirdly satisfying.
The Accent/Booster kit was definitely worth adding. Being able to increase the line density in certain areas and layer in the Penny Bronze made the design feel intentional instead of random. It let me shape the look instead of just slapping on a pattern.
Honestly, the hardest part wasn’t applying the vinyl — it was deciding on the layout. Figuring out how much coverage to run, where to carry the bronze, and how the lines should flow across the body lines took the most time. Once I committed to the direction though, the install itself went smoothly.
I also put together a full timelapse of the install with some tips and notes on how the vinyl behaves during application.
And I was able to work out a 10% discount code through my @ford.maverick.trucks Instagram page since I’m always showcasing everyone’s builds over there — so seriously, thank you to everyone who’s sent photos and supported the page. That community support is what makes stuff like this possible. Keep sending your build pics in so I can keep featuring them.

Overall, I’m really happy with it. It completely changed the look of the truck without feeling overdone, and it’s one of those mods that just elevates the whole build. Definitely worth it.
