I watch local broadcast stations for the local news and weather, and low and behold, this morning there was a Ford Company (not a dealer) truck advertisement.
They mentioned the Ranger and the Maverick BEFORE the F-150.
All other Ford truck ads I've seen were for the F-150.
This was the first time I'd ever seen the Maverick even mentioned.
I actually never heard about the Maverick before I saw one on the freeway and then they started showing up everywhere.
Pretty good sales considering the lack of advertising, but going forward, word of mouth will likely do more.
