I just programmed this one using the 2 key method and it's working with my 2025 Lariat:

I would go to the local Ace Hardware...they have key making ability.Did you find a local cutter?
That is willing to only doing the blade cut, leave the programming out of it?
(since obviously not needed)
Great find.
Yes but most are quoting me $45 just to cut the blank!!! At that price I might just leave it un-cut and if I every lose one of my factory keys then cut this one..lolDid you find a local cutter?

They would not cut mine even though I said I could deal with the transponder programming.I would go to the local Ace Hardware...they have key making ability.

They went by the book - which said they couldn't do it.
Annoying.
Nope, I can unlock/lock (via door handle and fob buttons), start the truck and drive it.Good to know that two-key method works for the 2025 model. Did you have any issues with the security chip recognition after the programming process? Thanks for the update.
my dealer ls looking at well over $100( close to $200 I believe and they wonder why I wont use their services, anybody know where I can get a metal blank cut to stash in my wallet,I know eventually will lock myself out of this thing due to the stupid placement of the lock button.I also used the 2 key method to program a new fob. At one Ace Hardware they told me they weren't allowed to cut car blanks. At another Ace Hardware the manager tried but said he didn't have a thin enough guide to do it. He even tried to do it by hand but got stymied pretty early in the process. I initially thought he ruined the blank but he assured me it was OK. With my options dwindling, I went to the dealer that I purchased the truck from, told them it was an aftermarket fob and he still cut the blank free of charge. Awesome guy!
If Ace is a no go then I was going to try this out:my dealer ls looking at well over $100( close to $200 I believe and they wonder why I wont use their services, anybody know where I can get a metal blank cut to stash in my wallet,I know eventually will lock myself out of this thing due to the stopped placement of the lock button.
