I'm at dealer where I purchased my '24 XLT Hybrid. They included "free oil changes for life" when i purchased it.
I scheduled this appointment two weeks ago for work to be done in their regular service bays area, but they've sent me over to their "quick lube" section and giving me the runaround about upcharge for full Synthetic. Also having 10,000 mile Checkup and they're acting like they need two days to do work. My question is: how can I be sure they actually use Full Synthetic other than looking at my receipt?

Trust is earned not given.

I would not trust a dealer that needs two days to do the 10,000 mile service.
My dealer took exactly one hour for my 10K service.
And that included my extra request to check my RDU and PTU for correct fill.
At no charge.

Read your contract but the only acceptable oil is synthetic for the hybrid. I'm bored and have time hands, if dealer refused to honor it I would sue in small claims. They need to be taught a lesson.

A dealer who doesn't know something basic like what type of oil to use on their own new car sales is a huge red flag.

Free oil changes for life are an easy way for the stealer to get your car up on the rack and upsell unnecessary service.

Since full synthetic is what is REQUIRED for the hybrid, there shouldn't be an upcharge.

The only way that I know of for you to definitively know that they put the correct oil in is to send a sample to an Oil Analysis company like Blackstone.

It definitely sucks when you find out that you can’t trust the place where you bought it and you are well within bounds to insist on the correct oil being put in your vehicle.

My opinion:
The synthetic blend will probably work just fine and I can’t believe that you would experience any damage. Granted, it’s a slightly different weight oil so your mileage will perhaps drop down a slight amount but you might not even notice it.
You should definitely insist on whatever you paid for but I don’t want you to think that it’s going to destroy your truck engine if they put the blend in, my friend.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts and comments.
I was successful in getting the oil/filter change done at no charge after I stood my ground and told them that I bought it there and that was part of the deal.
My receipt documents this line item:
0W20 BFS MotorCraft SAE 0W-20 API SN/SN, 6 qts at $6.67/qt (at no charge to me)

It's pouring rain so as soon as it quits, I'll go check the level on the dipstick.
~~~~ so can I assume that description means Synthetic was actually put in?
Yes. I don’t think Motorcraft synth blend oil comes in a 0W-20 weight.
Good for you, my friend. It’s nice to hear when things work out as they are supposed to.
My contract calls for free synthetic oil changes, I pay $32 for full synthetic with the difference paid from the points from Ford.
I've fought this battle often also. Look at the part number of the oil used and look it up. Sometimes its not easy to do because Ford has a different part number for the bulk synthetic than in the smaller container. Yes it can be an issue and just four days ago i took my truck in for service and they but a synthetic blend instead of full synthetic which has all the faults of conventional oil and none of the advantages of synthetic. They admitted what they did and changed the oil again without charge.
But that's no guarantee they will use that spec just like on my service four days ago. The writers writes synthetic and they will use the blend if they write Full synthetic then you will get the proper oil. I've been using full syn since 1976 and have fought this battle with many dealers over time thats why when i go to pay I check the part numbers used to be sure they are correct. Do not trust the dealer double check and be sure its correct.
$39 blend oil service,
$79 full syn,
At my dealer,
That’s not an up charge.
