overall turbo spool and whoosh sound are more audible and pronounced to me;

15min install, bolt on - got mine from panda motorworks; I noticed an improvement in turbo performance (but no overall boost increase past cobb OTS tune)

using my brother in law’s device; probably not enough runs or needs custom tune - mainly thought the picture was cool. But, yeah that time should be better. I’ll try to post a video as I have got it up to 130mph pretty easily. Thinking about getting my my own draggy, so I can re-test. Cobb tuner has a 0-60 but a little fickle about recording.

It's a sleeper tho
😂 If I get the Dragy; you can rank your car across similar builds. Pretty cool device. I am curious if the guy who sold or tried to sell his highly tuned mav on here (confirmed fastest mavrick guy) is the world leader as he mentioned dragy allot. Gonna post some photos (later) soon of the downpipe upgrade and some thoughts about my poor experience with CVF customer service as well as my experience with the other upgrades. CVF provided no install instructions and pointed me to stainless install instructions; add: they were hard to get a hold of… Anyway, I’ll try to get a before (now/ soon ) and after (some point in the future) once I do the panda custom tune as none of the upgrades have been incorporated. I wonder how much of a difference if any that will make. I assume at the least they’ll further increase boost pressure. Cobb is definitely user friendly and no chance you’ll blow up your engine; however, they really limit changes you can make beyond their OTS tunes without a professional cobb tuner doing the adjustments.

CVF Downpipe - brother in law - had to delete the secondary cat converter and run a straight pipe. They’re (CVF) 2in conversion would not work without doing so. Trying to figure out what exhaust to replace current set up with —- since I am running stock 2in from after down pipe to muffler. Brother in law is a pro street guy and he helped put it in; and by helped, I mean I held the flash lights and he did 95 percent of the install… Add: The provided O2 spacer/ defouler from CVF on bank 1 runs right into the heat shield (it will not fit). The CVF intercooler was way easier but again no instructions from CVF. The difference there is — way more stuff about the install both on here and through panda - you tube. Although the panda motor works video appears to cut right through a sensor on the bumper…

CVF Downpipe - a bit of a hack job on the exhaust; but based on CVF 1) no instructions 2) zero contact email or call back from customer service (tried a combined 8 times to reach them). I had to delete the secondary cat converter and run a straight pipe. They’re (CVF) 2in conversion would not work without doing so. Trying to figure out what exhaust to replace current set up since I am running stock 2in from after down pipe to muffler. I won’t buy from CVF again. I would have done a charge back on my card but my brother in law is a pro street guy and he helped put it in and work out the check engine light (bank 1 o2 sensor). This could also likely be tuned out. Add: The provided O2 spacer/ defouler from CVF on bank 1 runs right into the heat shield (it will not fit). Lucky enough my brother in law had a right angled one sitting in his garage on the shelf. The CVF intercooler was way easier but again no instructions from CVF. The difference there is — way more stuff about the install both on here and through panda - you tube. Although the panda motor works video appears to cut right through a sensor on the bumper…

How was the install on the cat? Did you get to the bolts from above or below? Have a catless waiting to install. I plan on purposely getting rid of that second cat.

My 2 cents for the weekend warrior- at least for me- (alone) it would be nightmarish but I had big help. We got 2 bolts from above which were actually somewhat straightforward. One from below gave a my brother in law quite a hard time. Oddly enough it seems like the reports are that 2 are easy from below. One is hard from the top. We seemed to have the opposite experience as I mention above. To get that last bolt off — he had about every extension (could not reach from the top); penetrating oil; and bending wrench with electrical tape you could think of. Then there’s this crazy heat shield on the cat converter which does NOT seem to appear in the service manual or any of the other posts (unsure if it’s a 2023 lariat thing or what). Point is: took both of us with crow bars to pry out the old down pipe even after the bolts came off. Sliding the new downpipe on was a bit easier. The only sticking point was the bank 1 - o2 sensor being up right against the heat shield. I am guessing if you’re doing cat-less — that won’t be a problem. Let us know how it goes.
