Truck so close but yet so far

Ordered my 2025 Ford Maverick Lariat on 4/08/25, it was built on 5/21 and shipped on 5/23. It gave me estimated delivery date of 6/10-6/16. Contacted my dealer today to see if they could tell where it is and it is in a town 53 miles away, but he said the delivery was pushed back to 6/21-/6/27. Mind boggling it will be almost 2 weeks to go 53 miles.

Assuming it’s stuck in a rail yard? If so that’s the reason.

I think this is the rail yard and guessing it will go by truck the final 53 miles being there are no rail station in final destination town.

It's waiting on a truck to haul it the last bit to your town. That is your cause for delay. Mine sat in a rail yard for over 3 weeks. Neither Ford or your dealer has any control over this last leg of delivery. All you can do is wait.

Truck came in today, dealer is installing bed cover and mud flaps. Will pick it up in the morning.

Sorta the same for me. Mine had, possibly, bad pinch welds on the gas tank and it sat for 5 months on a lot by me waitingfor a new tank. Drove me a little crazy (er). Ah well, sanity is overrated.
