I appreciate the ingenuity and think it looks nice on the truck. Maybe could use a light bar mount on one of the tubes, possibly as a later add-on. Nobody else on the market is making anything like this that I know of.

However.

This is absolutely ONLY about looks, there is no way this adds ANY type of impact resistance - maybe even makes an impact worse. It literally attaches to the truck with 4 screws into plastic and two bolts and washers sandwiched in a bigger hole (not even threaded into the truck). Even a minor impact is going to transfer all the energy directly into the plastic grill, which will break, and the bumper cover below the actual bumper, which will also break - and I would guess tear the hole in the metal where the nut and bolt are sandwiched.

If you buy this thinking you are adding any protection, that is a mistake. Buy it for looks if you want, but know what you are getting into.

This is probably why there aren't any other bars like this on the market. But it does look good.
