Is the bakflip the only cover that will work with a rack system because the cover has to sit on the inside lip of the bed? Just want to be clear.

That's a great question! The BAK Revolver X4ts Hard Roll-Up Tonneau Cover w/ T-Slot Rails is currently the only BAK cover that includes integrated T-slot rails and is compatible with the Elevate Rack. Also depends on what rack system and if you're willing to modify. When I had my Maverick, I had an Xtrusion Overland XTR1 rack with a Truxedo Sentry CT tonneau. I had to modify the tonneau rails but then it worked perfect. I know people have also done the same modifying to the Bak X4S with that rack and similar ones.

I imagine something like that would be a custom style. You mean with a wood-like finish or overlay, right? The same kind of panel look that they used to have down the side of Station Wagons.

So disappointed in myself… Should of known to go with one of the covers from the forums here.

but no….I didn’t…

Purchased a YITAMOTOR Hard Tri-fold Truck Bed Tonneau Cover from Amazon.

CAVEAT EMPTOR

1/2 the hardware missing from parts box,
able to fill 1/4 from the “Spare Parts” bag that was included.
T-bar latch malformed so it will not accept the latch.
Missing the cotter pin from one of the latches so my install never happened.
Never even unwrapped the cover…why bother… really disappointed .

Customer service is open til noon on Saturdays, when did I start the install AFTER lunch on Saturday.

Will keep you guys up to date on the journey….hoping beyond hope, they just send me another COMPLETE parts box.
If they give me any problems I guess the 1st thing I will be hauling in the back of my Maverick will be their joke of a product back to the Amazon Center in Roseville!

Should of known I was in for an “ADVENTURE” when I first read the outside of the box!

I’ve got a trifold hard cover on my 23 hybrid and it leaks horribly. So when I bought my wife a 24 hybrid I bought a cheap o soft roll up. Then before I installed I looked at leakage points and did some prep before installing by filling in the two body channels at front of bed and two on side rails. I used silicone cauld and overfilled then trim flush WTH razor blade after it set up. I also added 3/4 inch foam strip along front of bed then I aligned cover and tighten 3 clamps along each side a little at a time to make sure rails of cover didn’t warp. That cheap cover leaks very little even with a heavy 3-4 inches of rain.

Doing a little planning ahead and I’m curious if anybody has first hand experience with the Tonno Pro Tri-fold hard folding tonneau cover? I do some long distance drives so I need something safe and water tight but also something that I can remove by myself if necessary.
