Hello from a someone who does not own a Maverick

Good morning, everyone,
just wanted to say hello really quick even I do not own a Maverick.
Have already spent hours on here just lurking as I am very interested in either a XL or XLT with AWD, Hybrid and 4K tow package. Really don't need a truck as I have a trailer I can use with my Wrangler. But it is a great alternative to a standard vehicle and sips fuels as well.
Really valuable information to be found on here and appreciate everyone's time and efforts to share their information / knowledge.

Then, finally, you go "visit" your local dealership just one more time. And there it is. The perfect Maverick. The color you want. The accessories you want. The virus starts making you itch. Then the unbelievable pricing is revealed to you and you go for it!

Now, you leave the dealership on a high you have never experienced! You laugh in a voice that you don't recognize! You now have the Maverick Virus. You will start to buy accessories. You will post pictures, you will wave at strangers! There is no vaccine for this! But you don't care...............you have a Maverick 12-step family to visit here. We are here for you!

Haha, The OP is not alone. There are a few others. Some haven't bought yet but are still offering advice.
I checked out postings on the forum before I bought. I didn't offer up any advice.

Hello and welcome to MTC. You don't own a Maverick, that's okay. You are the one missing out. I kinda of feel sorry for you. Yep getting beat up driving that Wrangler, having to pay at the gas pump, just climbing in or out, and let's not forget that body roll. I do hope you take one for a drive. Just WARNING, WARNING Will Roger you may just have to buy one. If not just hope you are happy with the Wrangler, that's what's important, we only go around once. Appreciate your feedback. Had the Wrangler for 23 years now and absolutely love it despite its fuel mileage, bumpy ride etc. Fortunately, I have an older Lexus LS400 as well.
But yes, hope to own a Maverick soon.

Welcome to our forum. The Maverick is a vehicle that's in your furture. Owning a Wrangler, means you put up with quirks that happen with vehicles built for more then just transportation. We love doing thinks that most family cars weren't build to do! Again, welcome to our club.

Why would you need an AWD or the 4K tow if you use the Wrangler.
I know lots of the MN and Wisconsin owners were quite please with the front wheel drive handling the snow up there. You being in the Houston area I am sure not worried about snow
(grew up right by the Beltway 8 and Memorial drive),

Hopefully that will happen soon. Just checking on deals out there which with the tariff situation does not make it easier.
Can't get the 4k package without AWB on the Maverick. Eventually I want to buy a small pull behind camper but I am limited to only 2K on my Wrangler which is a two door. A lot of the trailers I am looking at come in at 2600-2900 lbs. Otherwise - yes you are correct - it would not make sense to need these options in South Texas.
Actually, i work very close to the area where you grew up. Right at I-10 and Kirkwood (Energy Corridor).
