Based on feedback from the cigarette sockets, I now offer USB charger kits for the Flexbed. There are different styles depending on the form factor (rocker vs cigarette socket) and USB options (dual USB vs USB + PD). Regardless of the style, each kit comes with a 4in Flexbed connector and mounting bracket which replaces the Flexbed cosmetic cover. Install is straight-forward and takes about a minute.

I tried to offer different styles to fit everyone's preferences. As always, I appreciate any and all feedback. At the end of the day, I want to make sure that my designs fulfill the wants/needs of the Maverick community and that comes from your comments.

This is what the rocker style chargers look like with the waterproof cover installed.

The voltmeter uses almost no power and helps indicate that the outlet is active.

This is the QC 3.0 + PD option that has proven to be the most popular.

The additional cigarette-style options, to match the aesthetic of the cigarette socket.

To answer the most common question, the chargers replace the Flexbed cosmetic cover so there's no lost space on the bed and no cutting required.

Awesome! After adding the 12v cigarette plug to my truck, I have been very tempted by the idea of adding the USB option on the other side. I'm not entirely sure what I would use it for so I haven't pulled the trigger yet but maybe soon....

I switched to the USB version after the most recent time we went camping for a few days and people needed to charge their headlamps. It was so much nicer to be able to just plug them in and leave them be. Now I just charge my portable work lights while I drive and I don't need to worry about the cord vibrating loose (like I would with the cigarette adapter version).

Those are really cool! Will look at ordering after my 2025 arrives.
I just restocked most of the different styles. If there's something you are interested in that's not stocked, just reach out to me directly.

I can attest that Mark makes a good product. I've had mine for a couple weeks or so and installed it last week. Because of the spray-in bed liner it took a little more effort to snap into place but it wasn't terrible. Nice piece, very functional and looks great.

Thank you, I really appreciate it. Everyone's truck is different and I do what I can to make sure that my designs not only work, but thrive through all the abuse they may take. It's incredibly satisfying to see them in the field and hear that they're doing just as well as the ones that I have on my own Maverick.

They'll remain on for whatever the "Rear Powerpoint Timeout" setting is, which by default in Forscan is 90 minutes (for most models I believe). The chargers all have some visual indication - they'll either light up or display the voltage - to show that they're powered.

Installed two of these yesterday; a USB-A/C port, and an SAE cigarette lighter port. They are well-made. Can't wait to find something to use them for. :)

The only challenge I had was that my aftermarket SIBL is at least 3mm thick in places, making it too thick at the Flexbed openings for any "normally-engineered" insert to fully seat. Even the OEM covers were really just sitting in there by friction as opposed to latching via their tabs. I had to essentially stencil the outline of the port and Dremel down my SIBL to a reasonable thickness, but once I did that, the 3D-printed ports seated and are retained very well.

One other observation, which should be common sense, is that that the weather-tight covers are good but not invincible, and I would avoid high-pressure water from a hose etc. if you are washing out the bed of the truck. It's probably a good idea to make sure the covers are sealed from time to time, especially if you're about to go through a car wash or something.

I designed the clips to account for bare paint (stock) up to 2mm thick bed-lining (to match OEM and most aftermarket options). Since a few people have reached out in the past, I have an unlisted version of all the brackets that are designed specifically to accommodate listings up to 3.5mm thick. Those versions are made-to-order so they take more time, but I don't charge extra.
