Sun shade recommendations

Guys my truck is arriving next week and I'm in Tampa, FL. My soft top mercedes will be in my garage so the Maverick will be out in the driveway every day. I want to get a good sun shade for the front dash, but am looking for suggestions.

There are many brands and I want one that fits well specifically for Mavericks and will hold up to the Florida sun a while.

I'm looking for suggestions for a great fitting sun shade that will last, can you guys that have one provide some suggestions? (Not sure if the 24 model sizing has changed for the 25 model but my order is for a '25 Lariat.

Buy one from Ford.
You will pay more for the Ford brand.
I personally have a cheap folding one. I've cut to fit around my dash cam. I didn't feel like paying over $100 only to start cutting it up.
You should not have a dash cam between the windshield and the cover too much heat buildup.
Bearing in mind the outside temperature here can be 117°. The heat hasn't affected at all and it's easy to store.

I got one of those spring hoop types from Mabett. The fit is great, but the fold and twist procedure to put it back in it's storage case is somewhat tricky and sometimes difficult. This is mostly because of the hoops being rectangular in shape to fit so well as opposed to the circular ones that may not it not cover as well. Seems quite durable and priced right, but there may be more user friendly options out there.
Late EDIT (6-1-25) researching the brand this might not be a Mabett product, however beware the inexpensive ones out of China that use the folding hoops. This one is still so stiff you don't want to be near it when opening it. Maybe too large a gauge wire used. So far suffering with it.

I have that one too. It works well in NorCal’s hot summers.

I completely agree. I have been using the Ford Maverick sunshade for three years now and it is excellent. I would not mess with any other opportunity.

Show your colors. 25 bucks fits like a glove. I have 3 of them. They fold up tiny and put it between my passenger seat and console.

I've had this one since 2023 and it has held up well. Not flimsy at all. And, it fits the Maverick windshield perfectly.

Living in Florida I would recommend adding a dash cover to your list as well - I have had great luck with the Dash Designs products I have them in multiple vehicles here in the “sunshine“ state including my 2025 Lariat AWD Hybrid
