We have tried it on another model, and the feedback from owners is that it is very cold, even if heated with a hair dryer, it will still cause detachment, so the evaluation is very poor.

Yeah that'd be the spot I'm talking about, It would have to go over the lip of the lower door cubby and would probably have to be more of a tension fit rather than just 3m. Though that'd probably just cause more scratching anyway or increase manufacturing costs too much to be worth it.

I would buy this lower kick pad protector in a heartbeat. If it goes over the lip of the door pocket and wraps around the bottom then screws into the bottom where you will never see the screws or the holes if you were to remove it in the future it won't come off. The design looks awesome. Over the lip, 2 or 3 screws along the bottom, and a good 3 M tape you have a winner. This can't fail please reconsider this maverick must have, it's a great looking design.
