Air Design tailgate spoiler install question

So I got the roof wing also, and at it came with a tube of urethane like adhesive you put on with a caulk gun along with 3m tape. The tailgate wing attaches to the textured part of the tail gate and i really dont think 3m tape only will be enough. If you installed yours did you do 3m only or did you supplement with adhesive? Im debating screwing it down or using some liquid adhesive lol i dont want it to come off.

Do you know if the wing covers the entire top of the tailgate I installed a Retrax PRO XR Manual Retractable Tonneau Cover w/ T-Slot Rails so it does go over the tailgate like 1/2” - 3/4” but there is about 1/2” between the top of the tailgate and the bottom of the tonneau hard cover? Thanks

It slides under ford tri flip tonneau and goes right to the edge of the tailgate

I test fit it at the dealership to see. It goes under my tonneau

That looks great thanks for sharing the photo it seems to add addition protection against any residual water intrusion

I can understand you questioning it possibly of it coming off. When I close my tailgate, I lift it the on the edge and slam it shut.

I just used the 3m tape on mine and it is holding firm.

Does the color of the wing out of the box match the other black stock trim?

It matches the trim on top of the tailgate that it mounts to.
