Wish Maverick had wireless Apple Carplay

I wish it had wireless apple carplay, I just drove a 2021 Nissan Rouge with it and its awesome.
specially if it's gonna have a wireless charger but I have to plug in the phone to use carplay kind of dumb.

I get your point I wish it was wireless as well, but, when you think of it at least your phone will always be charged to some degree

Also, FWIW there is an adapter out that you can get to make wired CarPlay wireless by just plugging it in the USB port!

That's true guess the wireless charger will be used for a passenger, I was looking into those but im not sure still.
I hear that the sound quality goes down and its a bit laggy. I will have to research some more.

I just got the wireless apple CarPlay adapter last week for my Kia Forte and it works like a charm.

While bluetooth is capable of handling things like music streaming and phone calls, it is not robust enough to handle the complete car play or android auto suite. "Wireless Apple car play" and "Wireless Android auto" are distinct from simple Bluetooth connectivity.

There's AAwireless with their adapter but Covid/semiconductor shortage has units coming out in small batches. Also Carsifi is the same concept (actually likely running AAWireless' software) and a bit more sketchy yet supposedly legit-ish? Less transparency from the seller on that one.

I used a little dongle to get wireless carplay in my Bolt. It worked pretty well

I have the 2021 Nissan Rogue for my wife and they are light years away from their previous model! I know still CVT but had a 2011 Nissan Rogue for 8 years that never gave us any major issue. Hopefully it'll be the case on this new one!
