I’ve been a member here for a while. I ordered a 2024 Maverick about 2 weeks before I found out my employer was going out of business. I never did receive a build date on it, and a month after finally losing my job got a call from the dealer informing me my Maverick was ready. Had to let it go because I had no income.
Cut to November of 2024, and after 10 months of being unemployed FINALLY found a job, and then 2 months later (this past Wednesday) I finally have my Maverick.
It’s a 2025 XLT 2.0L EcoBoost AWD in Desert Sand. So far I LOVE it. I’m still finding features I didn’t expect to find on this vehicle.
I don’t have any glamour shots yet, but here she is.
Now, I know there have been some negative reviews of the 2025 version, but I’ve been driving a 2012 Ford Fiesta 5 speed for the last 13 years. While I loved that car, there were LOTS (heat/defrost quit working) of reasons it was time to go, so here we are.
I don’t have a lot of immediate customization plans, but do plan on installing black lock/lug-nuts and probably a bed mat.
maybe down the road after the warranty expires I may put a leveling kit on it and some larger tires, unless someone tells me that wouldn’t void the warranty now.
Anyways, thanks for having me here. I’m excited for the future.
