I like the look, how does it sound?
Really windy today here in Colorado. I’ll post a sound clip on a calm day soon. She sounds really good! Can’t believe how good….not as loud as an STI or Focus ST….but just right. It really growls when you get on it!!

LOL…rolling brick? My man you need to take a ride in my lowered (changes the center of gravity), Cobb tuned Mav and you’ll change your mind about that statement I promise…..😉
I got the same set up. The mav is an ego checker to certain other cars on the road. Lowered by about 2 inches, intake with Cobb tune. I have a catless DP waiting to be installed. Easily can get to the 120’s but coming from a tuned WRX with full bolt ons and tune I feel like I’m just chugging along.
Keep me posted on your perf mods if possible👍🏼

The fastest I’ve been to…at sustained speed I was following a lady in a QX-50 traveling across northeastern New Mexico. We were rolling along at 125 for the better part of 50 miles. I had the stock Pirelli Scorpion ATR’s on her at the time and I hit 130 twice on that run….Let me tell you that I saw the “tire-off” light flicker both times I got up to that speed…lol. Put it this way…it definitely made the hair stand up in the back of my head…🤪

I think it’s funny that most folks have not experienced the added performance of ecu tuning that is custom from the factory tuning. They don’t understand that in some instances….ie….transmission tuning, that the custom tuning can actually be better for the health of the transmission with the bonus of added performance. It’s just like performance aftermarket audio. A lot of folks have not experienced anything other than factory audio and they can’t understand why you would want to mess with a perfectly good stereo system…😉
I try to educate and inform in a very respectful way. Trying to win over new believers on both fronts….lol.
I know you know what you are doing but be careful with powertrain upgrades on this 2.0 liter ecobeast. Based on Cobb and Livernois tuning I’m not sure how much head is left on this engine. Obviously you will need to get with a Cobb Protuner to dyno and write a custom tune for your Mav once you get the downpipe installed. They will also update your airflow increase with your CAI and exhaust additions. You know the Cobb tunes we run are only looking at a completely stock Mav….so if anything is aftermarket the tune doesn’t change anything for that…..so you really don’t see power gains from mods unless you do custom dyno tuning. IMO….If you really want to get serious with some fun power gains….trade your Maverick for a new Ranger. All you need is the 2.3….that is a 350 hp motor all day long with just simple upgrades like an exhaust, CAI and a OTS tune. SO fun to drive!!!
Please keep me in the loop on your future Maverick endeavors…

I agree 100%
I had a WRX and did all the bolt ons and got a protune. It was a rocket after that. Gonna do the same thing with the Mav.

Mighty fine looking vehicle. I'm wondering what the badge on your tailgate says...

I de-badged my tailgate by getting rid of the AWD logo. Then I stuck an ST badge on her for fun....
