I ordered this on November 24th from Suburban Caps in Suffern, NY. The lead time was 4 to 6 weeks and I received the call it was ready on December 19th. I had it installed on December 23rd and it only took about 50 minutes. Fitment is great and Suburban Caps was great to work with. With the options and paint match it came out to just under 2800.00 with tax.

This is my first time owning a truck with a cap. I ordered this with the sliding windows and a grey head liner. No other options. If I did it again I would try to get one with a keyless lock for the rear window. I am hoping there's a retrofit kit available. I would also add roof rails to get some tie down points on the ceiling. I really want to put a net on the ceiling for storage.

Thank you for sharing. I really like the looks of it. I also like the molle panels you have installed under the rails. Your set up is giving me ideas on how I can improve my bed storage for my Maverick.

Looks like a superb fit, very streamline! I like the profile so much better than the one from Ford that has the bump up although that one probably does provide more interior room. The top looks like its just clamped on, is that right? Any problems with leaking?

You can get the rails from Amazon, they are a universal setup. Just get some measurements from someone who got them on the V series on where to drill em. Nothing fancy just a touch of silicone where the bolts go through. On interesting thought is that you could buy 2 sets and put 1 on the inside for a track system to hang a net and whatever else from.

It’s just clamped on. You can bolt them but you would need to drill into the bed and I did not want to do that. It rained today and no leaks! It is sealed very well.

The guy who installed it said these seal very well to the Mavericks. He said the only water that gets in is from the tailgate. I did buy a weather strip seal for the tailgate to hopefully have the bed completely water tight.

I was thinking of epoxying some tie downs to the ceiling. I just need to find the right piece to use.

The ones they sell that I ordered foolishly are glued and screwed up there. Still they just don't inspire any confidence so I have never used em for anything other than wet towels. If you have a desire for rails on top, I would seriously consider doing something like I did in this thread.

looks great. I ordered one on 12/06 and am waiting for it to come in. Mines gonna be in carbonized gray metallic. I didnt order the headliner though and did order it with pet screens and sliding side windows. also was told that the drop down front window is now the standard option on the maverick tops so as to be able to clean it. can't wait for mine to come in.

UPDATE: got a call from the cap installer that my ARE is in .... sadly Im out of town till next week so won't be able to get to it till then....

Looks fantastic and the price is reasonable...
How does it impact your visibility?
Did yours come with the drop-down front window for cleaning the glass between the cab and the cap?
The only thing I would do different would-be smaller clamps that don't stick out so far and in black if available. IMO the clamps look like a magnet for cuts and scrapes.

It definitely impacts the rear visibility. You can still use the rear view mirror but can’t see too much. Especially when the rear is wet it’s very difficult to see.

Mine did come with the fold down front window. It’s a nice feature to clean the glass in between.

I might get some black clamps in the future. The silver isn’t too bad. I’m not rolling around back there so I don’t think I’ll be getting any cuts or scrapes haha.
