Mostly I've seen people comment that they've been very happy with the price and the process. Something that I'm going to be reaching out to them and getting done very soon myself.

To qualify, your vehicle must be 2014 or newer, under 80,000 miles and over 41 months and/or 40,999 miles from the original in-service date. Ford extended warranty plans are really pretty good. We've sold a few to customers with vehicles other than Fords, and they cover them just fine.
If you have a problem, take to your Ford dealer and if they need to send it to that particular manufacturer's dealership for repairs, they simple send it over and submit the estimate for repairs to Ford -- just as if it was a Ford -- they review it and authorize the repairs. When it's repaired, you pick up your vehicle where you dropped it off, pay any deductible you may have and you're on your way.

Additionally, some aftermarket/dealership plans don't cover as was as the Ford plans. Some will not cover related damage from a covered part, and some don't even cover simple things which may not traditionally fail, but you'd expect to be covered; like a thermostat.
Of course, check the plan you're interested in to get the coverage you want, and be sure that related damage is covered too. That alone could save you a ton of money.
