@Granger Ford , is there anything in the first 3 years of factory warranty (standard 3/36 coverage) that an extended Premiumcare warranty would cover that wouldn't be covered by the standard factory warranty? Trying to determine if I should buy a Premiumcare warranty when I first purchase the vehicle vs waiting until the factory warranty is almost used up.

Great question. The factory and PremiumCare would cover the same. It would basically extended your Factory warranty.

Great question. The factory and PremiumCare would cover the same. It would basically extended your Factory warranty.

I apologize if this has been asked before, but I'll ask the question a different way. What specifically does the PremiumCare not cover for a hybrid if you were get an extended warranty beyond the 8 year / 100k mile hybrid warranty?

Okay so for a hybrid,


So the 8yr/100k warranty is the warranty for the batteries only. So, you would not have a warranty on your vehicle except for the battery if you are past the factory warranty.


This is at the bottom of the PremiumCare brochure and will talk about things not covered with Premuimcare.

I'm seeing the same price now as I was a couple weeks ago. Are you sure you're configuring your Mav the same way each time when you start out on the Granger webpage? If you're not always putting in the same info, you'll get different numbers, as the pricing is different depending on how long ago it was purchased, AWD or not, plow or not, commercial purposes, etc. I just tried a couple different options, and keeping everything else the same, depending on if I chose AWD or not, there was a $340 difference in cost.

This is a GREAT question, It makes sense to wait until your 3yr/36k warranty is almost up so you are not paying for a Warranty during your FACTORY WARRANTY.
