A batch was assembled and ready to ship out of Diode headquarters yesterday. Since you ordered through Panda, I recommend you reach out to them for an update on your specific order.


No guarantees, but I will be advocating for this from within Engineering. I designed the last fog kit on my personal 2022 Maverick. Hopefully someone with a 2025 order in St. Louis will reach out to help get the ball rolling.

Hi nunucello! Currently, the new Diode Dynamics D-Switch panel isn’t compatible with iOS CarPlay—sorry about that! You can still control the light bars wirelessly through our D-Switch app on iOS and Android devices, though, as shown in the demo with the iPad. Let us know if you have more questions!

Thanks for the feedback! We’d love to make the D-Switch app compatible with CarPlay—it would be a fantastic feature!

At this time, though, it's simply not possible due to CarPlay's restrictions. CarPlay is highly restrictive, allowing only essential functions like navigation, which is why Garmin's app is approved. Since D-Switch doesn’t provide navigation, it falls outside of Apple’s permitted app categories.

If Apple expands its CarPlay compatibility in the future, we’d definitely explore this option. For now, we'll keep working to enhance the D-Switch experience in every other way!
