Update 7/16 @ 8am Eastern:

Okay, so here's an update for everyone.

Looks like I was a little too optimistic on Retail orders, but we did receive 1 schedule of a 300A FWD 2.0L Maverick. It is scheduled to be buiilt the week of 8/23/21 as you can see here.

Ford Maverick Maverick scheduling commitment @ 4PM Eastern. Spray bedliner and 2.5L engine only constraints currently {filename}

Also, probably more encouraging to most of you is that we have 10 retail orders that have had their priority code changed to "02". This means that someone at Ford has upgraded their priority code. At the dealership level we cannot change a priority code to anything in the single digits. While these aren't "scheduled", they will be among our first retail orders scheduled. I'm not sure on the exact timing.

Even better news for those worried about constraints is that out of our 10 scheduled 6 of them contain the 2.5 Hybrid. This was an option that was constrained from this weeks stock order run. Also encouraging is that the majority of our retail orders were also equipped with the spray in bedliner, which was constrained for our stock orders as well.

What I can take away from this is that while Ford may be refining their initial production process currently and limiting some options on our stock orders, at least for now, they plan on having these options available whenever the retail orders begin production.

Zach

Original Post 7/15:

The Maverick is scheduled to have a 4 pm EST commitment time today. So your dealer will at worst, know by late this afternoon or early tomorrow if your Maverick got scheduled.

We can already see the 10 Mavericks that will schedule for us this week, it just hasn't been officially updated by Ford.

Spray and bedliner and the 2.5 engine are the only restraints. My 2 cents is if you're in a hurry have the dealer install the bedliner upon arrival rather than wait another month.

So the 2.5hybrid will be delayed?

Thx for that head's up. Alas, since I'm going First Edition hybrid (with the included spray-in liner) then I'll be pushed back a bit. Despite that, I'd rather get what I want even if it means waiting another month or two.

Good luck to those who get scheduled today!

So the 2.5hybrid will be delayed?

It shows as a regionally controlled commodity. Which indicates that they only have so many of those available to produce and the 2.0L will be easier to schedule.

You mean ANYONE that has a spray in bedliner or specific ones like those that ordered it as a stand alone option and not with the packages?

Lmao I have both the hybrid and spray in because lariat lux

Fingers crossed still
Haha - I have both as well, so I'm already operating with the thought I'll not be selected for scheduling for at least another month. Fortunately my current car works fine so I'm not gonna stress. It'll be cool to see other members start to have their trucks built in the interim.

Whether it's part of a package or not. Both of these are commodities that Ford is anticipating more demand than supply. Typically they'll fill higher trim level demand first then work their way down.

👆 this?
The post on the blue oval forum said only standalone spray in liners were delayed. Lux pkg and 1st edition were still good. Did that change?

Edit: I see you answered while I asked. Thanks

For builds with spray-in included in a package, while it's constrained how would we go about switching to having it added at the dealership without jacking up the build order itself? I realize I'll likely be delayed because of the hybrid but just checking my options going forward.

Thx as always!

So, I might still get lucky since I ordered a Lariat.

Thanks, Zach. Swooping in like a dang superhero.

My condolences to fellow Lariat lux folks.
Thx for the condolences.... LOL

Are you also going Lariat? Hybrid and spray-in liner?

But when Ford says restraint, they don't mean restricted as-in they aren't building them, they are just restrained from building so many because of supply, so not as many will be scheduled? That's how I read this, especially since the Blue Oval forum shows the communication the spray in bed liner is restricted to lux packages only. That would make sense since those are higher trim packages. I guess we will see what happens. We have all day to bite our nails.
