Hey everyone,
Putting together a quick reference thread with all the install and setup guides for the Maverick in one place.

Here are the step-by-step videos covering front/rear installs, hardwiring, and app setup:

A few quick notes:

Model A/B refer to the different cover shapes. The power tap methods in generic videos may vary since wiring differs by vehicle and model year—your kit includes the exact plug-and-play harness for your Maverick.
We don't recommend OBD power taps due to the Ford Maverick's BMS/sleep cycles—use the fuse box hardwire kit for parking mode.

I think the mirror mount and the wiring is great and very OEM-looking. But at least for me, I'm eyeing the Viofo lineup, mostly because they have a waterproof rear camera and I plan on mounting the rear one on the trailer hitch.

We do not recommend OBD power supply, as some Maverick owners reported issues with unreliable power cut-off. The fuse box hardwire kit is our primary recommendation, offering more reliable battery protection for long-duration parking monitoring.

We also have a dedicated plug-and-play overhead light power harness for the 2025-2026 Maverick. If you don’t need parking mode, this overhead light harness is the more convenient option.

We actually have two versions depending on what specs you need:

Standard Version: 4K Front (2160p @ 30fps) + 1080P Rear, 2.4G Wi-Fi.
Upgraded STARVIS 2 Version: Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 (4K Front) + IMX675 (2K Rear with HDR) for much better night vision and license plate readability, plus 5GHz Wi-Fi.

Both versions feature:

OEM Design: Custom housing that snaps right onto the mirror shroud with zero hanging wires.
Storage: Comes with a 128GB card in the box.
Core Functions: G-sensor collision lock, loop recording, and app connectivity.

Glad to hear your setup has been working solid though! Some owners ran into random battery cut-offs depending on their driving habits, which is why we usually point folks toward the fuse box or overhead harness just to be safe.

Well I can use the OBD port in the same fashion. Its set to turn off when the key is off.
So parking mode last about 20mins which is good enough.

Makes sense! If that setup works for your use case, give it a shot and see how it goes. Just keep an eye on it over time in case the Maverick's 12V system acts up or throws any battery saver messages.
