What is parking mode funtion?

Parking mode keeps your camera monitoring the truck even after you turn off the ignition. When connected via the fuse box hardwire kit, it offers two recording options:

• Impact Detection (G-Sensor): The camera stays in low-power standby. If it detects a bump or hit while parked, it automatically wakes up, records a 1-minute video, and goes back to sleep to save your battery. You can adjust sensitivity (Low/Medium/High) in the app.
• Time-Lapse Recording: Continuous time-lapse coverage for 12, 24, or 48 hours (disabled by default, but can be turned on App).

If you go with the overhead light harness instead, the dashcam will simply power off whenever the vehicle is turned off.

I noticed on the install video for the type B it seems there is one plug they did not hookup? The one from the camera? Please look at the video and advise ASAP! I did buy this but want this clarified prior to my install.

That component on the Y-harness is actually an in-line fuse holder for safety, not an unplugged connector. The harness is completely pre-wired, so there's nothing left disconnected—you can just tuck it away into the headliner during setup!
