The Aussies put a wing spoiler on a Falcon ute for the Surferoo model:

It looks nice but I am always afraid to glue/tape anything to my paint.

Question: Would it be solid enough to drill into and mount antennas with?

I have been working on an antenna mount as seen below. I know Larson makes one, but I am not going to pay almost three hundred dollars (after shipping) for a piece of folded metal.

If your design would allow a piece of aluminium bar stock to be slipped in, for both rigidity and to allow for grounding of the antenna, it would do what I want.

Kind of what it looks like at this point:
