Review: Mabett Auxiliary Roof Light Bar Kit for Ford Maverick
Vehicle Model Year: 2022–2026
Overview
the @MABETT Auxiliary Roof Light Bar Kit is an absolute game-changer for the Ford Maverick's front profile. Designed explicitly for the 2022 through 2026 model years, it seamlessly flows with the truck’s body lines, completely transforming its look to give it a much more aggressive, rugged, and premium stance.
Unboxing & Build Quality
Straight out of the box, the quality of this kit is highly impressive:
Components: The kit comes fully loaded with a robust base plate, a sleek gloss-black top housing panel, individual LED light pods, a complete wiring harness, an adhesion promoter, 3M double-sided tape, and all necessary hardware and tool's.
Light Pods: The heavy-duty LED pods feature solid rear heat-sinking fins. Assembly is incredibly straightforward, requiring just two screws per pod to lock them into the base housing.
Wiring: Mabett did a phenomenal job on the harness. The wiring features heavy-duty, waterproof snap-together connectors covered in high-quality protective sheathing.
Installation Process
Installation is extremely straightforward and can easily be done right on your tailgate or in the driveway.
Assembly: Secure the light pods to the base panel with two screws each, plug the internal waterproof connections together, and use the included snap-nuts to secure the main assembly.
Mounting & Wire Routing: The base plate mounts securely to the roof using the provided high-strength tape and hardware. The main wire tucks cleanly down the side channel of the windshield, hiding flawlessly underneath the factory weather stripping without any binding.
Under the Hood: Pop the hood to mount the included control box. Wiring is simple with dedicated positive and negative terminals. Hook it straight to your battery, tidy up the slack using the provided zip ties, and you're good to go. It results in an incredibly clean, professional-looking engine bay install.
Wireless Control: One of the best highlights is the included wireless switch controller. Because the button is completely wireless, you can mount the sleek, round remote anywhere inside your cab using double-sided tape—such as right below the center dash cubby—without drilling or pulling wires through the firewall.
Performance & Visual Impact
Once the top housing panel is snapped into place, the finished product looks like a high-end factory option rather than an aftermarket add-on.
Esthetics: It gives the Maverick a wider, tougher look that perfectly complements rugged features like a lifted stance or all-terrain tires.
Brightness: Even in full, direct midday sunlight, these LEDs are blindingly bright. While they require a night adjustment to dial in the perfect beam trajectory, daytime visibility alone proves that these will throw a massive amount of light down the trail or dark backroads.
The Verdict
Pros:
Premium build quality with robust waterproof connectors and heavy sheathing.
Clean, hidden wire routing with zero cabin drilling required.
Wireless control pod makes interior placement a breeze.
Completely transforms the truck's front-end presence.
Cons:
Requires patience to line up the roof tape perfectly on the first try so i recommend two people for this part.
If you are looking to add some aggressive styling and serious auxiliary lighting to your Ford Maverick, the Mabett Roof Light Bar kit is worth every penny. It delivers a professional, clean install that looks amazing on any build.

Update if you want to sear the eyeballs of all mammals with a 100 yard radius, this is exactly what you're looking for.
And no, unfortunately, the last picture is not my truck in a real environment.
