Zep Taillight Reverse Lights Are Horrible

Try switching to tremor lenses or black out package with led installed .chrome reflectors are kind of important for reflecting light .or cut some holes for rock crawling lights into the plastic bumper cover and hook them up.

Wait you're ruining what automotive engineers spend tons of time designing, and the government spends tons of time testing, and don't understand why they would have done all that work?

This seems as lame as the people who put dark covers over their headlights and wonder why they cant' see at night....

Yea I'm not a fan of the tinting and ZEP stuff at all.

I've learned a lot in my life the hard way, but this isn't one of those things.

Just want to add that I tried the Alla Lighting WTY21W as the reverse lights and that helped drastically due to the style of LED that it is. I would say that it is back to the stock level of the reverse lights which I'm happy with.

As for the reason the Brake Lights brightness is not effected is because those lights do not need to be able to throw light onto the ground, they only need to throw light straight back. The Reverse lights always threw the light back in my previous setup after I used Zep, but due to the chrome reflectors being gone light was not being thrown on the ground till I got the Alla Lighting LED's.

I would recommend doing ZEP, but just know that you are going to be going be buying a lot of Reverse LED's till you find the best one.

I really do feel bad for all of the grouchy people on here who hate the ZEP treatment and who just put people down. One days you guys will be more positive to others
