Im sorry....but the buffaler shrimp at Hooters are awesome. And there is a Hooters near me that keeps the beer at 28 degrees........And here is where I WILL OFFEND SOMEONE ON THIS FORUM-I will go there, have my beer, food and enjoy myself, all with my .45 strapped to my side with both extended and EXTRA mags.......
I am certainly not offended by the beer at 28 degrees

Lets try it this way. I'm 74. I'm a SCUBA instructor, Diver Medic, Cave diver, and retired ER Nurse from a level 1 trauma center in a major inner city hospital. I hold 4 BS and above degrees and as I stated previously my first was Sociology. My question comes from my experience with one of my Subaru STIs. On more than one occasion when getting out of my 2010 STI in a parking lot, passers by have stated that they were surprised to see someone my age get out of the STI. So now that I have ordered a Maverick I was curious as to the demographics of Maverick owners. Will I experience the same reaction, etc? Nothing more. One poster suggested that I should have conducted a poll. Had I know how to do that I would have...I'm 74 HELLO! So if someone out there wishes to assist me, than great, I am always accepting of help. Otherwise direct the negativity elsewhere.
Then don’t ask.

TOOOO funny!!!!!!!!!!! BTW, you have great sense of humor!
One of my pastimes at work joking around. Online gotta be careful as you don't really know one another and words can go sideways in a hurry.
People you work with you get to know they can joke with you and right back at ya. Never want to push things to a point where you need to check under the hood of your car before you start it.

Thanks i guess. I really don't know what any of that means. I didn't mean to offend anyone but apparently I did...sorry for that. It occurred to me that Ford likely had a particular demographic in mind. I just wanted to see how that was panning out. My guess from the forum is that it may not be quite as expected. In most of the promo videos I have seen from Ford the truck was directed at the late 20 to early 30 group...I have no clue what Gen that is. Anyway from the responses so far there are many in 50s range...interesting. As to my other cars and posting on Show and Tell I don't know where or how but I will attempt to find out. Thanks again.

@M Spec you've made the big time! Admin has pinned this thread to the top of the Introductions and Welcome Center.

I still would like to see some of your vehicles posted in the Showcase section. From your FJ40 pictures and your vehicles listed I suspect you have some nice ones.
Sorry my last post was supposed to be here not a stand alone. Oops using my phone and apparently inept so please check it out.

In a world full of easily offended humans, don't apologize. Clearly you aren't looking to steal SS#'s, just another excited Mav owner.

36. Law Enforcement. Was not looking for anything when I ordered....just realized there may be some opportunity to snag an awesome new vehicle, for an excellent deal, while supplies/prices last.

There are a few "younger" folks here but I think most of the younger crowd are on Reddit. I don't do Reddit, don't even know if I spelled it correctly. LoL

The Showcase link is at the top of each page. To add pictures of a vehicle, after clicking on Showcase, click "Add Item", then select Maverick or other vehicles. There are already several nice rides posted in the Showcase. Members can "like" a picture, it's kind of like appreciating a particular car at a car show.

I did a little profiling on M Spec, really I just used google (y).

Don't do as i did and mistake the op for a car nut 🤡
911  not made in Germany
StI not made in Japan 😵
M Spec definitely NOT a BMW

😘🥳
Well well are you the clever internet sleuth. Fact is that M Spec is my private tuner brand. It is not the name or brand of any car. I have been building/customizing cars for over 50 years. I buy them, modify them, drive them, then sell them and have done so close to 100 time (have actually lost count). I presently own 7. So if I were you I wouldn't quit my day job, if you do indeed have one, you didn't specify, to become PI.

This is one of my garages...Have a nice day:cool:
