I was looking at the 10.1" screen that Pioneer has, just wondering if it's workable to try to work something out with that kit installation wise. I have a local hook-up that has a couple of the modular units that may be able to do a trade so my $$$ expenditure would be less than getting the 7" unit.

It's just frustrating in the XLT to not have wireless Android Auto and depend on a dongle when my radio itself seems to not accept it (or other similar units)more and more as I have my truck.

edit: ugh, that one might not be modular....

Hi, i am thinking of something similar.
I think about getting the Meta kit and then cut it up to fit a bigger screen. Some extra black plastic to fill in space and it should do the trick. Im not concerned about it looking like a piece of fine art more just like it holds the stereo in place. Heck, i bought the XL, so bells and whistles were out the window a while ago, but I really want a bigger screen and more power and rca hookups for amps. I cannot wait to get rid of the cubby to put a bigger screen in.

It seems that MrGein has mentioned that he's lost some factory settings, I am hoping he will come back to describe what he all lost and what he's been able to retain.

Axxess Integrate premiered this at SEMA 2023 so these kits should be out soon. Granted you are limited to 2 pioneer units as replacements but they will be MILES better than the factory radio.

Here is a screen capture from the newest catalog.

Here is a link to the radio on Pioneers site.

My maverick is long gone, but I am still an audio nut so when I saw this I wanted to pass on the information.
Looks like enough to rewire a 737 jet.
