Man, talk about a let down. Just found out they messed up and gave me someone else's VIN and a production date. No wonder I checked the tracker and it gave me an Alto blue car instead of Iconic silver. Three weeks of excitement now turning into uncertainty and despair. Oh well, back to the back of the MY23 line I go.

This same thing happened to me awhile back. I had the same order # as someone else at the same dealer. When Ford Chat gave me the VIN, I went to the tracker and all the details were wrong. I then called the dealership (Granger) and they explained what happened. It’s been talked about a couple times on this forum. While confusing, it doesn’t end up affecting your scheduling. Mine just went into production today actually. Hang in there.

I know. I chatted again and they gave me the same wrong VIN number. Ford truly sucks at communicating. Oh well, I'm not the only one who is disappointed.
