There's only one wet belt engine that's having problems. It's the discontinued 1.0 Liter 3cyl that was mainly used in the Eco sport. The Ford 4cyls that had problems were those that had head gasket issues such as the 1.5 and early 2 0 EcoBoost engines. All Mavericks equipped with the EcoBoost 2.0 have the improved version that doesn't have the same issues as the early editionsMost Ford 4 cyls were great up until the belt in oil BS. Except possibly the HSC, damn things wouldn't just die so you could replace it with a V6 that had get out of it's own way power with barely a ding to gas mileage![]()
