What I was trying to show in the photos was the rear springs have coils rotating clockwise/counter-clockwise. They are specific to each side, the RR label on Ford’s springs was on both. H&R labels them RR & RL(Is drivers rear, RR or RL?).
An over zealous DIYer may get ahead of themselves and mix up which goes to which. Just pointing it out.
I installed these H&R sport springs in the garage on jack stands. Using basic tools and spring compressors being the only mildly dangerous part of it all(respect the pressures). Took about 5 hrs, very leisurely pace on a Friday afternoon.
Initial lowering gave me 3/4” in the font 1-1/2” in the rear. It’s a 2022 fx4 Lariat that I’ve had since late 2022. Changes the whole feel of the truck, initial impressions are awesome. It removes the numbness feeling that was there before.
